Hi! I am so glad you found me.

My name is Hannah Cartwright and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and registered nurse located in the great city of Chicago. I live in the Andersonville/Edgewater neighborhood with my husband and our 3 kiddos. I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and attended The University of Akron where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Shortly after graduating, I married my high school sweetheart and we moved to Chicago to start our new life together.

For the last 12 years, I have worked as a registered nurse at the bedside with a majority of my time spent in postpartum as well as labor and delivery. This is where my love for helping newborns and their families with breastfeeding began to grow. After becoming a mom myself, my passion deepened even more. My breastfeeding journey with each of our 3 children was very different. I love that my personal experience has allowed me to empathize with my families on a deeper level.

I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to step away from the bedside and the distractions of the inpatient world so I can give you and your baby (or babies!) the support and guidance you deserve. Breastfeeding is challenging. Welcoming a new life into this world is difficult. However, you were chosen for this and you are amazing. I am here for you and would love the opportunity to join you on your own journey. I am dedicated to providing you with warm, unbiased care that will help you achieve your personal breastfeeding goals. I got you!
